About Pack Plus Software Solutions and Pack+ ERP©
Pack+ ERP© was conceived and developed by juSSt Software Solutions Company, which is a Canadian custom software development company with more than 16 years of experience. Throughout its existence, juSSt Software Solutions has participated in the development and implementation of software solutions to meet special requirements in the areas of logistics, manufacturing, automation, and finance, among others.
In 2011, MiniGrip de México S.A. of C.V. Not finding a solid and specialized solution in the market of the flexible packaging manufacturing area, decided to hire the services of juSSt Software Solutions company to develop a specialized solution that would respond correctly, flexibly, and dynamically to all the requirements of the Main Company areas such a product engineering, production scheduling, manufacturing, and inventories.
After two years of development and gradual implementation, the functionalities of the different modules were tested, improved, and certified. All the objectives proposed in the project were successfully met, allowing it to be closed with the highest expectations fulfilled. Therefore, Version 1.0 of the solution called “Pack+” was born.
Thanks to the success, quality, and robustness with which Pack+© meets the specific requirements of the flexible packaging manufacturing industry, juSSt Software Solutions finds a niche in the market, managing to sell the second Pack+© license in late 2013, to ALCO High Tech Plastics, Inc., a Puerto Rican company specialized in the manufacturing of flexible packaging for the pharmaceutical sector.
By having two clients in two different countries, with different organizational cultures, and serving opposite sectors, Pack+© was fed with new functionalities and improvements, which make it the only platform specialized in the flexible packaging industry capable of responding in a native, immediate, and effective way, to the different needs of the sector without requiring customization efforts. The success of the ALCO Project implementation is a real example of the power of Pack+© since its flexibility, adaptability, consistency, and robustness were tested at all times, managing to complete implementation on time and at cost, without setbacks, and most importantly, generating value from the first day of the project.
In 2017, the company Pack Plus Software Solutions, Inc. was formally established in Delaware, Wilmington, USA; to serve the Latin American market in the first instance, seeking a global projection. Since then, and for commercial purposes, the solution to be marketed has been called “Pack+ ERP”.
Finally, as reference statistics, Pack+ ERP© is fully installed and implemented in many Latin American companies, where it is used by more than +1000 Users from more than 200 workstations, tablets, and personal and desktop computers. It assists the manufacturing of flexible packaging products for end markets such as pharmaceutical, food, industrial, and agricultural, etc.; and additionally, adapts and actively supports the implementation and maintenance of different quality systems and good practices, such as ISO-9000-2015, CGMP, FSSC 22002-4.
